Bad service. Me and my girlfriend waited 15 minutes for someone to give us the menus and another 10 minutes just to take our order. Everyone had a nasty attitude and kept staring at us instead of taking our orders and that just the beginning I had roast pork with rice and the pork was soggy and oily. Was a complete mess. I used to love this place for the food and authenticity but it fell off. I rather go to La Isla Bonita up the street

It's in a service entrance to a building. A bit odd for sure. However, I do not know of any other nearby Spanish food of this quality near my job. Service was a little slow around 2 in the afternoon, but the pernil was delicious. Compared to places in Corona or Jackson Heights, they are a big stingy with serving size for the price, but, for the location, I do not knock them a star for that.
If you work within 5 blocks and you have the time to get here, definitely worth the jog for the food.

I have been going to Sabrosos since it was a hole in a wall at their old location. I fell in love with the food, especially their beans. This new location has new cooks and the food is not the same, even the beans. The potato salad was nasty, the pork chops had no flavor. This place is not the same as it once was and its a shame. We won't be coming back here. I hear the place next door is much better. PS if you are planning on dinning in expect for your waitress to be super slow.

Must of Ran Out of Peril they gave me a piece of chicken the other half was pernil. Lol Great Arroz Amarillo And Frioles Negro though. Pernil & Chicken Were Dry.
