Price are crazy one day charge a price and another a different one, but good food tho.

The food here is ethnic Dominican. Having had visited the place a couple of times in the past year, the food has improved tremendously and is in some regards is qualitatively better than Caridad (down on 144th Street and Broadway). Recently, a bar was added in the back though the general decor is that of an older-style diner. In nearly all my visits, however, my greatest dissapointment has been related to service. Service can be horrible if you are not Dominican (or appear to be non-Dominican), including but not limited to servers and owner (older short woman) giving pre-assigned orders to patrons she either knows and/or who are of Dominican descent. On two separate visits, my order and that of my friend were given to Dominican customers who arrived after us even though we had waited 50 minutes for our food (mind you, takeout and after we were told it would only take "10 minutes"). The business receives low points for their treatment of non-Dominican customers.
