Worst service ever, that kid with the gay pony tail and glasses that takes the order is such a retarded douch, their food is garbage, they messing up

I've heard good things about the food and we drive to Kearny from Staten Island expressly for dinner here. Knowing that their hours are limited (closes at 8) we left in time to get there. Arriving there's little after 7pm we took off our coats, sat, and started to look at the menu. We were curtly told they were closing early today (despite the flashing open sign in the window). Told them we came just for them and said they were out of food. I'm not going to try again. Not recommended.

Had Delivery, so I cannot speak for the decor. Food was very good. Portion was large. I had the Ropa Vieja. There was plenty of meat and a good amount of flavor. Yellow rice with beans were also good. I also tried the beef empanada and chicken empanadas. They both had a lot of flavor. Tostones were good, very large and well cooked, but could have used more flavor. Overall very good and I would definitely go back again to try the rest of the menu.
