El Castillo De Jagua

It's a great neighborhood spot. I mostly get delivery and as any place on occasion, have had a mess up or 2 but they've always tried to right it. The food is good for take out. One place I'm grateful for.

Takes forever and food is hit or miss don't ever get the chicharon its horrble

I had the steak sandwich from there . It was disgusting and undercooked. The waitresses were playing in each other's hair and handling food right after. Our waitress didnt even bring us bread when we first sat down . She didn't come to check on us at all . Worst cuban restaurant ever . Never going back.

The service is HORRIBLE and the food is hit and miss! Unfortunately as a Hispanic it's sad to say others like it in the neighborhood are ALMOST as bad with the exception of Adela's on Loisaida between 4th & 5th which is on point most of the time.

OMG just had a pernil w/ yellow rice and sweet plantains...the pernil was so dry and it was so disgusting i feel like they gave me leftovers.The rice was hard and chewy and last but not least the plantains were so greasy...im sorry but its messed up that not one of the three tasted good...Now ive been to this place and ordered a few times and always said this is the last time.But noooo giving them the benefit of the dout i did it again...I myself am puerto Rican but to my Dominican people i would never take them there ill get a slap in the face...so all you people who five star this place shame on you.Its not what i just ate tonight its always and whn i called them to see if they could give me some kind of sauce they told me thats the way the pernil is made .shiiiit my pernil are juicy and flavorful...ok let me stop...I give this place a one star cuz the olny thing good about this place is the bacon egg n cheese i get in the morning and thats only if the mexican lady makes it and thats a dam shame...
