Great place for breakfast. Opens early as well. Good quality ingredients, well cooked. Portion size normal for NYC i.e. a little on the small size, but fine.

My favorite brunch place in NYC. The food is simple and incredibly delicious. Chorizo and eggs, eggs any style with broiled tomatoes and bacon is heavenly. Plus you can play noughts & crosses or as Americans call it, Tick tack toe at your table :)

Had a fantastic burger here, we could barely get up to leave after the huge portions. Good service and a warm atmosphere. The tables had paper tablecloths and we were given crayons - I still don't know if this was because of the baby in our party or just part of their shtick but we certainly had fun with them!

Very good breakfast! Service was bet good. I am a grits snob, and I found the grits at Egg to be damn near perfect. Not too overcooked, just enough salt and cheese to make it flavorful and still light. The candied bacon was addictive, and the Eggs Rothko was great, however the broiled tomatoes were disappointingly not fresh. Overall a great experience and they do take cards!

The biscuits and gravy just tasted off. Good bacon though! Some of the staff seemed fine. Others seemed frazzeled...The chairs are also uncomfortable (I'm 6'1). Went here in Octer 2015.
