The entire staff except for the lunch lady's are main problem . They don't even fund the gym. Newman banned all senior activity for a student. NO AIR CONDITINING heater always on even hot days I got nausea .i suffered for my 5 grade grades . Don't let your child suffer. Teachers think that this is there hangout . This school needs an entire new administration. The Principle and all VP's have to go and an entire new administration needs to lead. As it has been for years this school is the pits. Abusive, unprofessional staff who feel this is their hangout and to hell with the students . Bad leaders create bad teachers. They need a strong dedicated principle and all new VP's who care about children . This place has been for years a dump, and still is. Get rid of Stallone, Danke, Newman the dean and get a real strong admin in there and perhaps fix it. As for now, wow DOE, really ? Listen to us parents already. As for me, they will never see my kids again.

This school is not one to recommend unless your recommending someone NOT to send their child there. This year for graduation, the students only wore gowns, no cap were included. Its disturbing to see other schools wearing caps and gowns but no I.s 2. I am not sure if this was a disciplinary act but if it was, it was completely out of line. This school has a odd way of dealing with parents as well as the students. They also handle bullying very calmly as if it is not a problem. They are rude and it is impossible to get any answers from them. I am happy that my child will no longer have to deal with this school. The board of education really needs to investigate I.s.2 and get more involved to attempt to make it a better school.
