A disappointing experience. I sent my medical history and imaging to Dr. Su over a month ago. At the same time, I chatted in an online forum with someone who had just scheduled a BHR (Birmingham Hip Resurfacing) with Dr. Su for 6 weeks later. I'm over a month into submitting everything and Dr. Su hasn't reviewed my file/imaging and they are telling me the absolute soonest I could receive the procedure is in 5 months. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who wishes to travel for BHR, especially if clarity is important to you. I was told my file would be reviewed by the Dr. in 2 weeks. It's been over a month and it hasn't. They schedule so far out that it isn't a viable option if you are living in pain and with impaired function. The worst part was the lack of communication. Once my file was received by the PA-C staff, it got better but it didn't change the situation that I was a month in, didn't have a confirmed surgery date, the surgeon had not approved me and my chances of not living with enormous pain and impaired abilities for 5 months if I went this route seemed slim. For those who want/need BHR, we are being held hostage by the increasingly low number of providers offering it as an option. I really, REALLY, wanted Dr. Su to perform a BHR on me but at some point I needed clarity, had to make a decision and had to get underway with my recovery. I really regret this process.

Saved my life with a BHR. Restored my freedom to walk pain-free. Thank god for Dr. Su.
