I have been welding for years at the Educational Alliance. The teachers are skilled and extremely supportive for beginners. They teach you to weld and encourage you to take the next step -- creating projects. I have seen really impressive work come out of the studio.

The art school at the Educational Alliance is great; they have a wide variety of classes and an extremely helpful, creative staff. Plus the classes are not in the least bit expensive. It is a wonderful environment for anyone who is interested in the arts, or who is just experimenting and learning for the first time.

I love this place and have been taking ceramics classes for 12 years. It is a haven for creative and inspired learning and represents extremely good value for the many services offered. I wish New York had more places with the spirit of the Educational Alliance!
