Dr Kwan has performed several procedures on me, and each time I have been very pleased with the results. Most recently was eyelid surgery, the results perfect. Previously, Dr Kwan excised a basal cell skin cancer from my nose in a very sensitive area involving the nostril, and left me with no deformity whatsoever. If I had gone to a Moh's Surgeon, I would have had a crater cut out of my nose, with a certain deformity as a result. He cut only the smallest area around the lesion, then returned 6 weeks later to cut a small sliver of the remaining "positive margins", and the lab specimen came back free of cancerous cells. He advocates this method of treatment of areas sensitive to deformity, such as the nose and eyelid areas, the theory being that incision stimulates the killer-t cells of the body which then attack the cancerous cells which may exist around the periphery of the area excised. I cannot recommend Dr Kwan more highly, as he has enabled me to be cancer-free with no nasal deformity whatsoever.
Dr Kwan also performed love handle and flank liposuction on me a dozen years ago, with excellent results. He is a true professional, and gifted surgeon.

- Terrible #69055
I am a victim of Dr. Kwan - - 2010-07-31
My husband and I went to Dr. Kwan to remove the bagginess under our eyes. With Dr. Kwan's further recommendation, my husband agreed to have cosmetic work done on the upper eyelid as well.
The results were terrible. For my husband, the upper eyelid treatment left him with one eye appearing bigger than the other. And for both of us, he barely removed the bagginess - there was little improvement. In addition, I was left with scars above and under my eyes.
We were frustrated and booked a follow-up meeting via his secretary to discuss the problematic results. When I arrived at his office, he denied to talk to me, instead call the police, Kicked me out. So, we proceeded to bring this issue to court. And we lost the litigation because malpractice sue depend on wrongdoing of medical procedure not on bad outcomes. He was the only one to explaine the procedure of surgeries what he did, of course, he said everything was right.
My husband now has to live with differently sized eyes - he has to wear sunglass even indoors. And the area underneath eyes look awful. We are the victims of Dr. Kwon. It was a nightmare!!!
