I read the reviews and choose to proceed with a purchase from this company anyway. Bad choice. Over two weeks later and my order hasn't even shipped. They blame fedex. Fedex says they received a notice to ship and issued a tracking number but never received the package. This company assumes all of its customers are morons and the excuses they give seem designed for children. I'm pretty sure they are a couple of cons in a walk up waiting for stuff to fall off trucks. Avoid at all cost. You are warned.

Zero stars. Read the prior reviews here. They are all true. Rude, pushy, bait and switch dirtbags, up selling shipping, and pricing not as advertised. What I can add is that they fish for unnecessary personal information and not only did I end up with an unauthorized charge from East Coast, but mysterious charges on a card I never use. Hmm, curious, having decided not to move forward with a purchase, my card was charged the next day, not only by east coast, but by Serbia Air and Cambodia Angkor Air as well.

Just avoid the headache from customer service and the hidden fees.... Great prices at first glance, reviewed their shipping, handling, and return policy and no mention of surcharges. Bought a Sony 4k 65in TV for 1549 but a day later on a Jan 3rd Sunday, received a call from a customer rep trying to upsell white glove delivery service them slipped saying there will be a 1% shipping insurance. I refused, then he said he would throw in the white glove for free and it would be a 2.5% shipping insurance charge. I refused, he got upset and said I'm being defensive. I replied until I see documentation about your change of policies and the fees I'm not agreeing to anything. My invoice was 1708. Next thing you know, i got a new email for 1778, he still charged shipping insurance of 69.88 which is more than the so called 2.5% shipping insurance surcharge he said was mandatory BUT their policy never mentioned it. I notice they increased the TV price additional 10 and the shipping fee by an additional 10. I tried contacting their customer service and they are "CLOSED". I was pissed because the rep said he would send an email confirmation of the refund, policy documentation, and correct invoice

Update: received a call after my post from the same CS rep saying he is a manager but its the same guy different name. He said he would like for me to change the review after he refunds the shipping insurance. So far all I received was a shipping confirmation but no delivery date? but dealing with this company that is subject to change until I get the product. Still waiting on documentation of the shipping insurance policy he said he would gladly show me.

2 days later, I never received a updated invoice of the refunded shipping fee or corrected price of the tv. I sent a email demanding a cancellation on Jan 5th 6:49AM and they ignored it and processes the order to their warehouse. On Jan 7th, I called customer rep ext 102, he was trying to state the same empty promises of refunding the additional fees and said the tv was sent on Tuesday Jan 5th. So I asked for a shipping invoice to be emailed to prove it was sent, he couldn't provide it. He said it would arrive at Jan 8th but I'm just over the lies and poor customer service. I asked nicely for a refund he got upset and kept trying to state the same promised refunds. Finally, he agreed then said I would be charged $58 for cancelling and be refunded 1720 from the 1778 charged. 5 Minutes later his boss called and told me the same pitch of promises, I nicely said just want a refund and take my business elsewhere where I'm not gauged by made up fees and poor customer service. If you do business you always be up front and stick to the invoice, this company is not reputable. Just look for a better dealer with better customer service and visible documentation of their fees and policies. AVOID THE HEADACHE!

I've given this a lot of thought before writing this. I dont do online reviews often, and I dont pay attention to most because many times many people will only write something when its a bad experience. I really think people need to pay attention to the reviews for this company, so you know the ride you're in for.

First the pros-
I got an amazing price on the product I purchased. I got it for 20% less than I could find it anywhere. I did receive my product, and its in good shape. Whew!

The cons:
-They lure you with the 2%, read the fine print- thats only if you pay by check DO NOT DO THIS!! You will have no protection!
-You WILL get a call from a very high pressure, fast talking sales person that will upsell you on shipping. You can negotiate this price down. Then they will add on mandantory shipping insurance. -So the price you see online, is not what you will pay, but it's still a good price.
-I was told if I upgrade the shipping it will come fedex not freight ( who sends an A/V component freight?) and it will ship in 1-2 buisness days and not take 3 weeks to get it. Fine send it fed ex. I waited 3 bizz days to call and see why my order was not shipped, to be put on hold then told that I should have it by the beginning on next week ( this was a Thursday). I waited until Monday, no shipping number yet. Called back to be told that they were waiting on the distributor to give them the tracking number.
Here is a big problem- It shows in -stock on their site, shipping in 1-2 days. Why are they waiting on it to come from a distributor? When I got the product, it was not drop shipped from a distributor, it was shipped directly from East Coast.
I decided to use the online ticket to communicate further as they have NO phone manners, are extremly rude, fast talking, and will LIE to you every chance they get.
On Thursday I sent a message saying I needed a tracking number showing the product had been shipped, or to cancel my order. I got a message back in 5 minutes with a tracking number, that was created right then! So they had the product, and was holding it for whatever reason and didnt ship it until I told them to cancel.
This was a huge headache. I spent entirely too much time dealing with this, worrying was I going to be one of the ones I read about who never got their product, or got a damaged product.

Here's the problem East Coast- you could do AMAZING buisness with the prices you have! But you get one time buyers who never will deal with you again! All you have to do is quit lying to people, get some phone operators with some customers service skills, communicate with your customers, and be upfront about shipping and insurance. Do what you say you're going to do, and people will do repeat buisness with you. Word of mouth is the best advertising, and you are getting only bad reviews!

They get a star for the price, a star for delivering the product.

I wish I was able to give less than 1 star. I bought a $1,500 Weber grill from East Coast TV, i even paid for the WHITE GLOVE SERVICE, which is supposed to mean they bring it to where i want it when delivered, unpacked and inspected for damage.

When they arrived at 9PM in the pitch black, my wife had to go and accept the shipment, the truck drive told her in order to remove it from the truck you need to sign this paper. So she did.

When the brought it back to the area where we wanted it, they dropped it and walked very quickly to the truck and left with the back door of the truck still open. NO UNPACKING, NO INSPECTION.

Upon opening the box, there was a HUGE dent in the top of the grill and the box had been crushed.

The paperwork that the truck drive made my wife sign to even take it off the truck was the paperwork that said we inspected it and nothing was wrong.

The people should be put out of business, they are a bunch of frauds DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

I REPEAT DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, WALK AWAY, THESE PEOPLE SUCK!!!
