Horrible customer service, we waited in line for 40 minutes just for her to say "where is youre device?" We were planning on going and getting it but she said " if you go out then you cant come back in" so we waited in line for 40 minutes just for nothing. They should change their employees or give them better training in the customer service field.

I read all the reviews an became skeptical about having to come here. I am also aware that most people do not have anything to say unless their encounter did not go the way they wanted it to. Our situation was complicated so I didn't expect it to be pleasant. Not being sure of the procedures my wife went to an open window to ask about procedures while I began to check out the forms. We learned that the forms had to be completed first and the clerk at the window told my wife that once we were ready to come right back up to the window. It wasn't very busy so we didn't have to upset any other patrons in line walking right back up to the clerk because she had no one there when we completed the form. The clerk, a professional looking and acting young woman, was pleasant and smiling while listening to and responding to our enquiries. She explained the procedures and informed us why things were requited and did not hesitate to let us know what she was doing on her computer. I also noticed the same type of professionalism of the clerks nearby as they too helped the patrons that was in front of their windows as well. As we were wrapping up our encounter we began to ask specific questions pertaining to our situation and the clerk did not hesitate to go over those topics with us to our satisfaction. At the conclusion of our process she smiled and told us to have a nice day. The down side of our situation was that we would have to wait about 24 hours before using our transponder to allow time for the account to be established (sigh). Glancing around as we exited the building I noticed all other patrons in what appeared to be a pleasant mood as well and I contributed to the fact that the parking lot, the building as well as all employees were there to try to make the situation as easy and as pleasant as possible for everyone -- in our encounter it worked.

This is the worst customer service ever the representative was so nasty even though it's a 1800 number I knew it was Newark nj they all have attitudes I don't think they like there job I hate all of them there smh they suck If it was up to me they get no stars they are the worst

Horrible service
If you can avoid this location in Newark, Do it!
After they attended one person they leave their desk and waste your time while they go to the back.
We pay a lot on ezpass tolls to get this mediocre service.
Seriously where did you find so mediocre people?

If I could give zero stars, I would. EZ Pass of NJ is completely awful. There is no number you can call to speak to an actual person. All of their automated systems are not helpful if you need help remotely outside the options they give you, and if you attempt to press "0" to get a representative, it hangs up on you. I have also emailed EZ Pass' customer service center, and 17 days has passed with NO response. This is HORRIBLE customer service and I plan on filing a complaint.
