The food tastes great and the portions are enormous. They treat you like family. Sometimes the waits are a little long, but still worth it.

EV is one of Paterson's treasures. Over the years they have always provided quality food and friendly services........

FYI....E&V was NOT good...... YUCK......they charge per soda, the diet pepsi was flat & the waiter said..oh well sorry.....(we had 2 each due to the salty food) ...so 36 bucks in soda is INSANE......my chicken marsala was gross, chicken was over cooked and tough, the mushrooms were canned.....and IT WAS not Marsala sauce the way I know it....LOL ....It took 30 minutes to bring her slice of DRY carrot cake out since the waiter was NOT told by the OTHER waiter for the birthday girl.....service was horrible....SO I WILL not go back .....as you should not .....Risotto house in HH is 400 times better ......LOL.....

A friend told me about this restaurant before so I finally decided to try it after seeing the excellent reviews on Yelp. I decided to go with take-out and would possibly take my family if I loved it. Well, I ordered a side of meatballs with penne vodka. Wow I really didn't expect to find a maggot in my vodka sauce. I was absolutely disgusted. I ordered late - about 9:00 PM and by the time I got home...sat and ate it was already after 10:00 PM. The reviews were 100% right about the portions. I got a huge portion of disgusting-ness. I've added pictures so check that out too.
