Be aware of the "waitress" with the short, slick back haircut! Possibly the worst server with a terrible attitude I've ever experienced.
I normally love coming here for the drinks - which are awesome - and the usual service but this one particular night we sat in a booth and had to be served by her.
I recommend just going straight to the bar and avoiding her entirely!

It definitely wasn't as hidden as I thought it would be but definitely an interesting location. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be but definitely cozy and dimly lit. I think it's perfect for a date or group date type of thing, it's also good for a drink or two after a long day of work. They definitely have different concoctions. The first concoction had an interesting twist since it was sour but weirdly sweet. I definitely liked the second concoction he made for me, I asked the base to be Jameson and he asked if I wanted refreshing or sweet. I said refreshing and it came out great. There were hints of ginger, lemon, and mint, I couldn't tell there was jameson in it at all.

Great drinks and service. I highly recommend bartenders choice. You pick the spirit they create the drink! It's a great way to branch out and try drinks you may have not thought of. No real food options currently but there is talk that M Wells is going to start running their kitchen.

Looks like the LIC bar scene finally rid itself of the old stumble-bums that used to plague every place making it uncomfortable for decent patrons. As I recall there was a group of these old Irish and Italian degenerates that would show up to blow their SS checks in every bar along vernon blvd. Last time I was in the area I stopped in and found the place had stepped up a notch simply by the lack of that depressing presence.

A cool pseudo speakeasy with high end, high octane cocktails. The bar is nice and crowded and there's a good seating section as well for more intimate environs.
