Wow... we had a 60th birthday celebration for my brother at Due Ponte and it was great! We received so many compliments on the food and the restaurant.
Our menu included appetizers served outside on the dock which has beautiful views of the Whitestone and Throgs Neck bridge. The hot appetizers included eggplant rollatine (outstanding), mussels , calamari and pizza bread. Cold appetizer were served inside. Dinner which included pasta, salad, and a choice of entrees (veal marsala, chicken parmesan and salmon carmellina) could not have been better … great comments on all the food!! Finally we had an amazing chocolate mouse birthday cake which baked fresh at the restaurant. Camellia is a very talented pastry chef.
The owner and restaurant manager (Joe and Carmellina) could not have done more to make this a special event.
To top it all off Gary Pace played the piano … love his playing.
Cannot say enough about how great it was. So happy we went to Due Ponte.
