Dudley's Parkview Restaurant

Although I frequented this establishment when I was younger, I must have been in a alcohol induced haze because I remember having great times throwing back some drinks,dancing and sitting out by the water. I've been back a few times recently and all I see is a dirty dive with rude bartenders who charge way too much for drinks. This isn't NYC. The food is mediocre at best. The only saving grace is occasionally they have a decent band playing but charge almost $10 at the door just so you can sit in a room that probably hasn't seen a new coat of paint since 1985. If you find yourself at this place, do yourself a favor and get beer. At least you'll know the glass is clean.

One of the most awesome dives in southern Westchester the building was established 1928 turning into Dudleys parkview restaurant in the early 70's. I highly recommend coming by from May-June or late August to end of September when the weather is perfect on the outside deck raised above the water. Must haves are the Barge Burger and their baked clams

These guys are rude!

I didn't even get a chance to eat here. A friend of mine was looking to purchase a boat and the owner of the boat said it would be alright for me to step into the back deck and enjoy my lunch.

Despite the lack of business, the emptiness, and me keeping to myself not causing any trouble, the rude waitress says I cannot be there.

A good small business owner would've tried to at least entice me by letting me know what the specials are, asking me what I'm eating, offering an alternative in their restaurant and tell me to invite my friends over for lunch since I work less than a quarter mile away.

This is not NYC where homeless people come into restaurants on a regular basis. I was a well dressed and mannered minority.

There are plenty of places to eat in New Rochelle during my lunch hour. This will not be one of them.
