Duct Technology

The guy's a scammer. He pretends to be an employee but he's really the owner of this operation. He BS'd me on needing to clean the cooling coils and ended up charging me double the advertised price. Cut out the sides of the duct for no reason and left a mess with the metal pieces from all the drilling on the ducts! After the service, my ducts started to make loud noises because they messed with the ducts! DO NOT USE THEM. YOU WILL REGRET!

This company is quite unprofessional. Set up a Saturday appointment for 1 pm to have ducts and 2 chimneys cleaned. When they didn't show up by 145 we called main number and was told a tech would call us in 5 minutes. At 215 the tech called and said they will be there at 235. When they finally showed up after 3pm I explained that I had things to do so I only wanted the chimneys cleaned. The supervisor gave me an attitude and they left without doing any work. Would not recommend these guys to my worst enemy.

Terrible customer service, I have no idea how they stay in business. I called to schedule an appt for dryer vent cleaning. The woman told me they only had Wednesdays or Fridays available. I said I would call back to confirm a date. When I told her Wednesday 10/21, she said it's 10/22. And I repeated- "You mean, 10/22 Thursday, not Wednesday correct?" And she confirmed. On Wednesday 10/21, the woman calls to confirm the appt for THAT day! I said she told me it was 10/22 Thursday. And she said the guy can come in the afternoon at 3pm. So I called her back to tell her that time was fine for me, but then she changes the time to 5:30 which did not work. Then she told me they will come tomorrow at 1pm. I stressed that it's for my rental unit and I do not live there, so I need an exact time to meet them at the house. She repeated 1pm. So today is 10/22 and 1pm passes with no one there. Called and finally someone answers and says someone will be there any minute now. Then receive a call a couple minutes later to cancel and say they will be there at 5:30 instead. As if I have all the time in the world to just sit around and wait for them to show up! No thank you!! Avoid this company at all costs!!!!

Technicians were neat and quick. They all had shoe covers on. There were 3 Technicians and 1 Supervisor. i will have a better judgment on cleaning in few days/weeks.
I was told the Blower and Furnace coils would need to be cleaned and a separate price was quoted which was twice the advertised price for vents/returns; note this was over and above the price i was paying for vents/returns cleaning. While it was optional service... and though i opted for it, i felt the price was too high.
I was made to believe the cleaning of coils was "specialized" which it didn't appear to be.
Towards the end i was told - "not to tip the technicians", "you get 3 applications of disinfectant vs 1 at no additional charge" among others.

You can make your own impression of overall experience, i have mine and it's okay.

Overall good service. Technicians were very tidy and efficient. They all had shoe covers on. You pay exactly what the ad says, plus the tax. I got my air ducts done a few years ago by another company and ended up paying TRIPLE the price of what the ad says, no joke. This company is trustworthy in my opinion
