One of the nicest places I've stayed at anywhere. Great room, comfortable bed, everything very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very welcoming place.

Great location, cordial staff. Only gripe is that there is a lot of sound transmission between the hallway and the rooms.

Melissa at the front desk needs a raise! She provided Superior customer service - I had to change my non refundable booking due to a family emergency and she called the company I booked through (Jetsetter) on my behalf, without me even asking, and was able to get me a refund for the nights I had to cancel. I learned my lesson and will never book thru Jetsetter again, but I'd come back to DSH so long as Melissa is there. She rocks.

Great location, next to the freedom tower and close to the subway station. I spent a great time here, but unfortunately my room was too small (specially the bed) don't hesitate to book a room with a King size bed (but it will be expensive) . The breakfast is also expensive ($25 for scrambled eggs) so don't hesitate to take your breakfast away, you'll probably find cheaper and better. The main reason to choose this hotel is for the location.
