These ladies know how to do hair! One of my favorite dry bar locations.

If you are looking for some pampering, dry bar is definitely the spot. They are very attentive and really wonderful to their clients. There are locations all around the city. This one is convenient to the ACE & L trains at 14th street and 8th ave.

I've been here a couple times, with mixed results. The stylists always look at me weird when I ask them not to put product in my hair. The last time I backed down and just said "no hairspray", since I don't mind leave-in conditioner or heat protectant, but then she turned around and slathered on a handful of mousse, which is just as icky and heavy as hairspray. If they can't get the results I want without using product (which I know is possible) then I'd rather be given the option to choose a different hairstyle instead of having to live with a heavy, scented hair-monster on my head for the next several hours.

I came here for a pre-holiday party hair appointment and booked three months in advance. Unfortunately, I still had to wait 15 minutes to be seen and my colleague, at least a half hour. They need to improve their appointment booking process as obviously some clients have longer hair than others, requiring more time.

Otherwise, the staff was friendly and Jorge did a great job styling my difficult, long hair in 45 minutes.

Great Location! I have the curliest hair in the word! And they were able to get it stick straight in an extremely good time. I highly recommend this place.
