Firstly this review has nothing to do with the customer service I received- that was lovely. Everyone was friendly and the lady who did my hair was very chatty. I've only given it two stars though because my hair feels frazzled after having a blow dry and the tongs being used. It's only recently cut so was feeling very healthy before visiting. Now it feels really straw like and weighed down by product. The hairdryer was very hot and the tongs seemed to be left on each section of hair for far too long. The style didn't last long either - less than an hour. Probably the NY humidity didn't help but I've had blow dries in the UK with the same weather and its lasted. Hopefully a good home condition will make my locks feel better today! For the $47 price tag I felt pretty let down.

I had a great experience here. I felt like the stylist was super friendly, helpful, and professional. Overall, I was very happy with the results and I would return should I require these services again in the future.

They're attentive, polite, on time, free wine etc
HOWEVER THEIR PRODUCTS DO NOT LAST! She spent a looong time on my hair and no matter how much 'stuff' was sprayed or put things in it no matter what she did with the flatiron it fell right out. This will not last you until the next day. I've had one done before and it came out great so I KNOW ITS THE PRODUCTS THEY USE. For $40+ go somewhere that uses the right product.

I got a scar from this place!
I went to Drybar before a close friends wedding. After waiting a half an hour beyond my booked appointment, the blow out was fine - it just didn't last the whole night. What wasn't fine was the fact that the stylist knocked a glass of champagne over, a shard cut my leg deeply and no one there did anything about it. I wrote in response to an email asking how my appointment was, got one customer service message on my phone, but when I called that number back, leaving a message asking for the cost of the appointment and to cover all the other disruptions and dry cleaning the gash cost me, I got no response. Don't drink and get your hair done and you should be fine.

I love Drybar! I've been to both the flat iron and Murray hill locations. My curly hair is very thick and down to my waist but it came out perfect in a bit over an hour. My reservation was honored on time and the staff was very friendly. they accommodated my boyfriend and even gave him a glass of wine as well. My stylist was helpful and took my hair texture in to account when styling my hair. the price was well worth it because my curls lasted to the next day even in 85 degree weather with high humidity.
