It's a lovely looking venue with nice bartenders, good sound and a lot of potential. It's too bad the blond female manager with an Eastern European accent ruins everything else. She is rude and nasty not to mention a thief. We watched her clear coats that were left on the stage. When one of the members of my party approached her to ask where she had put his personal items, she yelled at him and said she wasn't responsible for lost or stolen items and he should've used the coat check. ... " but… " we protested, "we watched you take them…" To which she replied that we could all get out. Oh, I forgot to mention that two of our party's members were the DJs for the first three hours of the evening.

Attended a July 4th Industrial music event there with a friend. Out of 8 bands, we wished to see the headliner, which was supposed to play last. We arrived at the time of the event and were told that nobody was starting for another 3 hours, which made us uselessly walk around instead of resting inside. When 7 struck, we spent 4 hours listening to four bands and at one point decided to go upstairs to get some fresh air when the general manager randomly popped out of nowhere and told us that we can't go back in. She justified it by saying we are "underage," while we are both 18. We showed her that we had a special tag that didn't allow us to drink, but otherwise we should have been allowed to return to the lounge. She wouldn't listen. Additionally, the poster for the event had absolutely no information about any age restrictions, which is clearly false advertising. So logically, I can vote for my president, die for my country, and film in porn when I turn 18 but cannot attend a show? That must be a joke. And no one offered a refund / compensation. Funny enough as well, a 40-yo looking guy wanted to buy a ticket but the manager wouldn't let him because he forgot his ID and she didn't believe he was over 21
Conclusion: poor organization, false ad, rude behavior and clear incompetence of certain staff, as well as a dirty bathroom (why not, also true)

Pass this place by. It is absolutely not worth anybody's time. I have to mention before I get into my story that it was raining alot, when I got to the bottom of the stairs I was met by a tile floor, I slipped but thank God did not fall, the owners of this place didnt even have the wherewith all to put a slip resistant mat on the tile floor. (This kind of lets you know where the rest of my story is going). There were two good bands scheduled, their sets seemed to be rushed to fit in a third unscheduled band, the third band was not good entertainment at all, where this third band came from is beyond me, one guy was playing an accordion, nuff said. The drinks are way over priced, two drinks cost me 25.00, thats crazy, the owners must think they are located in the diamond district, its a dive. The end all for me was after the two good bands played, Drom decided to put about ten tables out for the bad bands onlookers, which weren't many,, oh yes sorry I forgot to mention, throughout the first two performances most of the onlookers had to stand up, WHY???
I will never, let me repeat never patronize this poorly managed spot again. STAY AWAY!!! There are too many good spots in New York to go to other then wasting your time and money coming here. I didnt try the food, it probably sucked anyway. How the heck do you have a food menu and no place for your customers to set down and eat it? THIS PLACE SUCKS.................
