I wish I could say I had a good experience at this salon, but it was truly one of the worst I've ever endured. I was excited to see Loren, as so many people submitted positive reviews of him. Firstly, he showed up 30 minutes past my appointment time. I also saw him stand outside, knowing he was late, for an additional 5 minutes smoking a cigarette before he walked in. He never introduced himself to me, apologized for being late, or even asked how I was doing. I told him I just wanted a small trim off the back (half an inch to an inch) with some longer layers. My hair was down below the middle of my back when I went in. When Loren was finished, my hair came just below my shoulders. Either my sense of measurement is off, or else Loren took off close to three inches without any warning. In essence, he gave me The Rachel cut circa 1995. He never asked me how I liked the cut, and when I told him I was concerned it was too short, he never commented. I've never experienced a more rude, dismissive, or inept hairstylist in all of my years getting a cut. Even after I told the receptionist I was unhappy, I still had to pay $45 for this nightmare. I just moved down the block from Manhattan, and was hoping to make this my new salon. It absolutely will not be. Ladies--beware. If I wasn't seven months pregnant with far greater things to worry about, this would be one of those cuts I cried over for days

FABULOUS PLACE..A great place to pick in hoboken..!! I tried most of the hoboken salons; but wasnt so happy. Then went to DreamZ as heard a new name in town..I have tried haircut/color,waxing n eyebrow services here.. but the perfection i got here, was simply amazing..very freindly staff n environment..Their HARD WAX is unbelievable - I have tried regular wax at some dodgy salons n they almost killed me with pain.. BUT AT DREAMZ this hard wax was completely mind blowing.. For EyeBrow Threading - its a MUST place..I would highly recommend. :) Only thing you need to make sure before you go, is check their on-going deals and you get cheapest service but the BEST in town;..For Sure going back...

It seems I have a different view than the others who have posted their opinions... I found DreamZ to be a very courteous and efficient... Within two minutes after arriving, I was greeted by my stylist Loren who then proceeded to wash and cut my hair... At first I was skeptical to get my eyebrows threaded since I usually wax, but I was impressed and extremely satisified with Kiran's technique.. I barely felt pain and the shape was exactly what I wanted... So thank you to the stylists at DreamZ for making me look good and feel good without the pain :)

This place is cute and colorful and I can always find parking on Jefferson which is a big plus! I had my eyesbrows threaded by Kiran and she did a great job. It was the least painful threading session I have ever had. I usually tear up like crazy but not this time.

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at Dreamz was so bad that I feel compelled to write. Go there for waxing only if you want to end up with blisters and bruising.

I went to Dreamz right when it first opened and had a fantastic experience with Bhumi.

Then I went back again and this time I dealt with a woman named Kiran. It was the absolute worst experience of my life!

I went to get my arms, under arms and bikini waxed. She did everything wrong and offensive that you can imagine. She took multiple phone calls on both the salon phone and her cell phone while there was hot wax on my bikini line. The bikini wax was so bad and uneven. I had hair left in odd places and there was no symetry on both sides of my bikini line. She double-dipped in the wax, which is incredibly unhygenic. She also didn't pull my skin taut at all, even after I asked her to, which resulted in my getting bruises and bleeding in my underarms. She had to use a new bottle of wax in the middle of doing my arms and pulled it out of the heater and I got a blister because it was too hot.

When I complained at the register, she gave me lots of attitude. I had a coupon for 20% off services and she reluctantly gave me 30% off.

I walked out of there having spent nearly $70 -- with bruises, bleeding and a blister. Avoid at all costs!
