Love this place! Excellent service, amazing hair washes and massage. I bring all my family to this place when they come to visit. Wouldn't have my hair done anywhere else!

I was a loyal customer to Dragon Fly when they first opened in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. I've gotten my hair cut a few times and even color a while ago.Today I went in for some hightlights, I asked the owners wife for a specific color, she barely showed any interest and went along to mix the color, it turned out to be wrong. I asked for blonde highlights...I pointed out the color from the big red book...and she gave me light brown....I was very upset and the owner refused to refund my money, even after I have brought in all of the women in my family as customers in his salon...He began to tell me that I was wrong and that I asked for the color. His wife lied and was very snobby and stuck up, for no reason because shes ugly anyways. She has a terrible attitude and had no remorse in the fact that my hair color was completely wrong...she simply sat behind the counter and lied, saying that I asked for that color.....I told the owner to give me even a portion of my money back...and he refused..I told him that me and my 4 cousins will never come in there ever again. The workers do not speak english, only the owners do...they only have basic knowledge of coloring, but they pretend to have expertise in it...DO NOT COME TO THIS SALON UNLESS YOU WANT A BAD EXPERIENCE. They barely even acknowledge you when you walk in, they all sit on their cell phones... they do not engage in conversation and they obviously proved that they do not care about the customer, but solely about the money

My friend pointed out Dragon Fly when we were passing by, I walked in and the hairdresser she mentioned was available, Denny. I was immediately taken to a relaxing shampooing session, Denny helped me deciding the best cut for me and was very efficient bringing it to reality. I love the asymmetric cut!
I have not asked how much it was before I sat on the chair, so I was surprised when the receptionist presented me a bill of $18+ tax and tip. I m not going to say how much I was expecting to pay, otherwise they may see this feedback and increase their prices accordingly.
I will totally go back!
