Dr. William T. Long, MD

People can be doctors. Problem is that sometimes that is all they are. The reviews I have read seem to defend him. There is no need. He saw me on an emergency the same day. His offices were gracious, his staff respectful and helpful. I felt like a celebrity. He saw me within 10 minutes (including the 5 minutes I waited in the examination room. I had just enough time to read how eminently credentialed he is and I was anxious to benefit from it. There was no dissapointment). He checked EVERYTHING and took the time needed. He gave me options in treatment. He was gentle and respectful and did not speak down to me, or treat me badly in any way. He had a tiny laptop with him and I was impressed by his technical savvy (can YOU read what doctors write by hand?) and attention to detail. I applauded the use of technology (I have no complaint when important issues to me are dealt with by those who try not to remain in the dinosaur age) that could only benefit me through the accuracy and efficiency. All the patterns were there for a wonderful DOCTOR and a professional and gentleman that likes people and provides an environment that his staff enjoys working in. I was never disappointed ANY time I saw him. Calls about scripts to follow up questions were dealt with by one person assigned to my file and responses were THAT day. I also heard from him personally where some doctors will not speak with you unless you revisit JUST for questions. Note also the spirit through the positive reviews. LOYALTY! I have waited TWO hours to see physicians who treated me with disdain and failed to resolve the purpose(s) of my visit. I guess you have to decide where your priorities lay? Even saying that there were too many positives to even have to consider that at issue. AND he accepts insurance.

Dr. Long is an excellent dermatologist. Very thorough,quick,minimal pain and great results. Also a very caring doctor. I always feel I am in great care when I visit him.
