Dr. Youm was recommended to me by a good friend after another Doctor poorly misdiagnosed me. Dr. Youm is a realist, won't push you in to surgery and certainly won't rush you out of the examination room. The offices aren't super "fancy" but don't let that deter you from the amazing support of Dr. Youm and his staff - from the receptionist to the X-Ray technicians, everyone is there to help and make for a good experience. I tore the labrum in my hip and Dr. Youm executed an amazing surgery at NYU in which I am up and running (literally) in less than a year! I have already recommended Dr. Youm and his staff to several friends, who have had the same amazing experience.

Did my labrum tear surgery. He was great the rehab went well. 3 years later I have to check on my shoulder because I felt the same type pain, I hope I don't have to go through surgery again though.

DR. YOUM IS THE GREATEST HE DID MY RECONSTRUCTIVE KNEE SURGERY ON MY ACL HE IS THE BOMB I LOVE DR.YOUM I SUGGEST YOU CHECK HIM OUT HE IS GREAT.

Dr. Youm definitely knows what he is doing. I was experiencing pain in my hip and ended up having arthroscopic surgery. I am now 6 months post-op and almost feel 100% in terms of strength and functionality in my hip.
My only problem was with the employees who worked at the front desk. Very unhelpful and have so much trouble scheduling appointments. Don't be surprised to come in for an appointment just to be told that your doctor is out for a conference or something.
