Worst experience of my life! I honestly have no idea how they have so many positive reviews. Firstly, let me just say that I never post anything negative on yelp, or other mediums, but just wish to enlighten all of you beautiful souls about my nightmarish encounter in this office. I came into the office, complaining of a nasty toothache, and needed to receive a root canal. I came back the following week to receive said root canal. The dentist which had performed it (Dr. Ho) was more concerned with making her early dinner reservation, than she was with my health and well being! Not only was she obviously in a rush (by actually telling me that she was, and had wishes that I had an earlier appointment) her unprofessional mannerisms expanded to constantly sigh, snarl, and literally keep checking her watch. She gave me so much anesthesia that I bit through my tongue and had to go to a doctor, but that was just the beginning! A few months had passed, and my tooth was feeling somewhat worse than pre-root canal. I was at a new years party on the upper east side, and suddenly the right side of my mouth (where the tooth was operated on) began to balloon to hellish proportions. I ended up going to an emergency dentist on new years day (who is a godsend!) He took x-rays and was appalled at the horrid job done on my tooth. Firstly, she had drilled WAY TO DEEP! Secondly, he told me that tooth should have been saved, but he had to now pull it out! Now, not only did I spend close to $10,000 on that debilitating root canal, I had to spend more than that on removing my tooth and getting an implant! People, listen to me! I am not someone with a vendetta, I am a respected family man who is only looking out for everyone's well being! FIND A DIFFERENT DENTIST! DO NOT TRUST THE CHARLATANS IN THAT PARK SLOPE OFFICE! The dentists at that office only care about what's in your wallet, and NOT what's in your mouth. Maybe, they're good for a light cleaning, or cavity, but I implore in you to find different dentists that care for your well being. Notice -- that I'm not promoting the other dentist! I'm not going to give the name out of that magnanimous, virtuous human being that saved my mouth. On the other side of the spectrum: Dr.Ho cared more about making happy hour, than she did about my health or smile! I assure you all that I am 100% honest, and I wish you all the best of luck!
Thank you!

Been going to Dr. Teichman's for years now, and have been treated by most of his docs and technicians. The work is always high quality and painless, the equipment state of the art, the atmosphere friendly and the staff accommodating. If you have to see a dentist, as we all do, this one's worth considering.

Dr. Plotnick and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating. Following a very thorough cleaning and a couple of fillings, Dr. Plotnick took the time to answer my questions about options for closing up my diastema. After performing my own research I was mentally prepared for porcelain veneers. Upon examining my teeth, Dr. Plotnick came up with a much less invasive and less costly procedure that would not cause any modification/shaving off of my existing front teeth.

I'm not saying this solution would suit everyone, but she thoroughly went through all other options and explained the pros and cons of each and determined her suggestion for me based on my teeth and the results I was looking to gain. I appreciated her professionalism and direct honesty: it is so important for me to trust a dentist, and she certainly made me feel that.

I decided to go with the proposed procedure and the results were better than I could have every imagined. I had trouble figuring out where my actual teeth used to be positioned, because the coloring and shape of the bonding matched so perfectly with my original front teeth. During the entire procedure she explained every single step she was taking and every tool she was using. Dentists' offices make me pretty uncomfortable, and she could not have done a better job to change that existing perception for me.

As much as my experience was a positive one, the real pay-off came later. I never realized how much I avoided smiling out of insecurities about my teeth until friends began to notice. It is incredible how such a simple procedure could change so much in my behavior and attitude towards life. My experience with Dr. Plotnick and the lovely staff (the front desk ladies are pretty damn funny and accommodate my obnoxious schedule) could not have been more of a win. I'm so grateful for my experience and actually look forward to going back for regular cleanings now. It doesn't hurt that she's charismatic as hell, too. Also, the hygienist (forgot her name) went through the parts of my mouth I wasn't flossing correctly and taught me how to properly take daily care of my teeth.

I love this office and all of its staff. They have managed to make a less-than-pleasurable experience a fun one, with a great team behind it all. Thank you for making me smile.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Teichman for over 10 years and we highly recommend him and his staff. They are all very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to deal with. The hygienist, Mae, and Drs. Teichman, Ho and Plotnik are wonderful and easy to talk to if I have any questions or concerns. My teeth have never looked better. If you are looking for a new dentist this is the place.

Being in my sixties I found myself somewhat stubborn and caring little about my teeth. Thirty-plus years of bad food and lots of smoking allowed my teeth, whatever was left of it to be hanging by a thread. About 5 years ago my daughter was visiting and told me she found a dental office not only near me, but technically in the 21st Century and
whose entire staff I would enjoy. Well, after a complete restoration and several implants I will enter any smile contest you can throw at me!! I have never had an issue, my daughter and her kids go there now and the attention and friendliness of all the dentists and the staff is outstanding. By the way the coffee is not bad either!
