Great doctor, the worst receptionist of all time. Hung up on my wife, rude to her on phone and in person in front of patients. Why? Receptionist demanded a referral in person but the insurance company sent them it electronically, and the insurance company, Oxford, actually had their agent call the office with the reference number for the referral since they were unwilling to use their computer to check the referral. As a health care provider myself and owner of a physical therapy office, this behavior is unacceptable and should never be tolerated by a client. I type this as my wife said they are very busy and there would probably be no repercussions for this. I hope this note will dissuade people from accepting this type of abuse from staff which must be factored into the overall experience of seeing a doctor, even one you may respect.
