Dr. Omid Termechi, DDS

Perhaps "loved it" is a bit strong. How can anyone "love" detail surgery. However, Dr. Termachi makes it almost possible. He is kind, gentle, thorough and gentle. He has just laid the ground work for my 6th implant. The previous 5, which I got a few years ago, are holding up fabulously well.

I can't imagine anyone being better at this than he.

This doctor was completely impatient. He wouldn't even do a proper cleaning and told me I would need to pay over $500 to remove my coffee stains (something my other dentist did for free). Regardless, before he was even finished with me, he was half way out the door. I still had questions left I wanted to ask him and he wouldn't even sit down. He just kept slowly inching back to his office. Like seriously? It was my first time there, and he could have at least acted like he cared a litttttle bit. Will never, ever be back. Thanks for nothing.

GREAT DENTIST. Dr. Termechi is a true professional. He is kind, gentle, patient and always shows genuine concern for me. He takes great pride in his work & his skills are first class. I would highly reccomend his services. He is not only a great dentist but a very good person !! Love his staff too.
I've been a patient since 2008, I was his first patient at this office. He saw me on a Sunday because I had a lot of pain.
In 2010 I had implants put in the back bottom of my mouth. They were wonderful and I have had no problem. That's why I had the top implants done last year (2014) they look and feel wonderful.
Dr Termechi skills and artistry are the best you can get. I highly recommend him…..
I should have written a review long before now. Good things should be said when ever possible. Glad it can still be told.

My best recommendations for medical care have always come from friends. That is how I became a patient of Dr. Termichi four years ago. My friend, I'll call her Tanya, who was recommended to Dr. Termechi by her elderly dentist for oral sugary. He knew Dr. Termechi from the NYU School of dentistry of which they are both on the faculty. Tanya is a real sissy when it comes to dentists, but was really impressed with Dr. Termechi's skill and ability to make her feel at ease. I am 71 years old and have had a fair amount of dentistry from some dentist who were okay and some not. I needed a new dentist for an implant because my usual dentist's fee was astronomical. After a consultation with Dr. Termechi, I was satisfied that not only would he be a good surgeon, but his fee was reasonable and when possible made applying for my insurance coverage easy. After the procedure, which went well, I became a regular patient for every dentistry need. Dr. Termechi is not only really skilled in the most up-to-date procedures, but is an artist. Let me explain. After an operation on my vocal chords three years ago, a front tooth was chipped. I thought I was going to have a cap, but Dr. Termechi carefully used epoxy to reconstruct the area chipped at a cost much less than a cap would have cost. He did it so well that no one, not even my sharp-eyed sister, could tell which tooth had been damaged. I don't know how he did it, but I was grateful beyond words.
Although it takes me about 45 minutes to get to his office on the Q from the Village, it is well worth the trip. His staff, Natalie and Jenny are kind, considerate, and efficient. It makes going to the dentist more a pleasure than hassle and most importantly, my teeth are in great shape!

I came in to Dr. Termechi' s Office with 1 completely fragmented and fractured Tooth, 1 partially fragmented Tooth and a completely fractured Ego accompanied by Anxiety. All of this was provoked and evoked by the fact that the trauma sustained was to my 2 front Teeth, due to an accident at work. I've always taken pride in my physical appearance and Health, so one could imagine how distraught I was. I called many places for Emergency treatment in Manhattan, where my injuries incurred, but due to one of our many Snow Storms of 2015, I was unable to get the medical attention I needed. The snow was an obstacle and/or a deterrent for everyone's commute. Each place I called was either absent of a Dentist or not even answering their phone calls. I began to feel helpless and anxious. I was embarrased of my appearance and refused to talk freely with my lips exposing my Teeth. I was always told I had a nice Smile and I though I never would Smile again. Finally, I called Dr. Termechi' s Office in Queens because it was in proximity of my residential area and he told me to come right in. Initially, of course, I didn't know what to expect because it's a common misconception shared by many that the best possible treatment you can receive in terms of Medical and Dental attention is in Manhattan. However, I can definitively tell you that I do not subscribe to that theory any longer thanks to Dr. Termechi. When I arrived to his office, Dr. Termechi and his Staff, Natalie and Jenny quickly balanced all of my Fears and Anxiety with their Knowledge, Compassion and Professionalism. When I left his Office that Day, I received a composite filling on one of my Teeth to hide the Fact that a significant amount of the Tooth was broken off. I was told that the treatment was for esthetic purposes and was only a temporary resolution until the rest of my treatment was authorized. However, I and anyone who was familiar with my accident were thoroughly impressed with the work done up to that point. You couldn't even tell that a big portion of my Tooth wasn't the very Tooth that God had given me. As a matter of fact, my employer made me visit their Dentist (in Manhattan) to evaluate my condition, as well as the outline for treatment that had been given by Dr. Termechi. Not only did he agree that the treatment was reasonable and necessary but he personally congratulated me on the excellent work that had been done up to that juncture. Furthermore, Friends and Family members alike who have received similar treatment have praised the Job he had done and told me they wish they went to Dr. Termechi. After seeing the treatment they received and comparing it to the treatment I received, I instantly felt blessed, greatful and appreciative. I have recommended Dr. Termechi to my Family members and Friends, but not so much as verbally. After seeing my Teeth, it served as all the Advertisement they needed. Apparently, my Teeth did all the talking, because I finally feel comfortable showing them again, behind a Smile that he helped put on my Face.
