I showed up there every other day either the foot doctor leaves too early or she not even there. She doesn't even come in the days she scheduled which is only 3 from 10-2pm

I waited 10 minutes in front of an empty reception desk just for an ornery receptionist to tell me the doctor was not there and disappeared.

Have six+ hours to spare? Love doctors that try to make the most off of your insurance company? How about dealing with an office that is utterly chaotic and out of control? Welcome to Dr. Naheed Sultana's practice (and Associates). Let start off by saying that Dr. Sultana is a charming, nice individual. But charming, nice individuals don't make good doctors. Here are the main issues with her practice:
1) Shabby Medical Care
Since there are so many patients waiting and everything is so chaotic, you can bet that you won't be getting the best medical checkup. During a recent visit, Dr. Sultana spent more time asking my elderly father about his home life than listening to concerns about his health. My father is, thankfully, in good health. But I overhead a distraught husband screaming at Dr. Sultana for not detecting that his wife had advanced cancer, despite repeated visits to her practice. Yikes! While we were in the waiting room, another patient told us that one of Dr. Sultana's colleagues had prescribed two different medicines for the same condition (on the same visit). She told us she ended up in the emergency room as a result. Lawsuit anyone?
I also noticed no less than 9 pharma agents coming by to hawk their wares to Dr. Sultana. She can be generous with samples but I don't know how much she actually reads up on the drugs and thinks about if she should be promoting them or not. She just gives em out like candy.
Finally, there are pseudo-doctors in Dr. Sultana's practice who seem enjoy acting like they are actual M.D.s. Vasla John, for instance, is a nurse practioner. She gave me major attitude once when I questioned one of her diagnosis--she said something to the effect of how she is a doctor and knows best. Umm, according to the prescription pad, you're NOT an M.D.
2) Ridiculous Wait Times
You can make an appointment for any time of the day but you can only count on one thing. You WILL spend at least four hours in the practice waiting to see the doctor. This is no joke. Plan on ruining your entire day just to get a measly ten minutes with the doctor.
3) Insurance Fraud
Dr. Sultana and her Doctor and Pseudo-Doctor Associates thrive off of taking lots and lots and lots of immigrant patients with Medicaid or Medicare. Most of the patients don't know anything about medical billing or how to read a bill. Dr. Sultana will happily charge your insurance tons of random items. Patients and insurance companies are none the wiser. Dr. Sultana and Associates happily line their pockets.
They also try to get you in for as many visits as possible. My father needed an injection during his visit. Pseudo doctor Valsa John insisted on scheduling another appointment to administer the injection. We were there on a Monday--she asked us to come in on that Friday for the injection and another visit. It was clearly just another way to milk Medicare out of money. Ugh.
So there you have it: I don't think any of these doctors are, individually, bad people but as a practice, it is disgusting. You are, after all, gambling with people's lives!
