Dr. Musaid A. Khan, MD

Although Dr. Kahn was very professional and helpful, it was the office manager that made my experience so unpleasant. She was extremely disrespectful, rude and arrogant. It is because of her that I would never return, and adamantly advise all not to visit this office. Her unfriendly manner and overall attitude completely shocked me. While arguing with me, she continued to smile with such smugness and sarcasm that it made me sick. The argument was concerning medical billing, as she attempted to deny my medical insurance for unrelated issues. The details are complicated, however in the end I was forced to pay $350 after I had already made my $40 co-pay payment. Regardless of the reason for the argument and who was right, her unprofessional manner in arguing with a patient at the front desk was shocking. To top it off, after I left they failed to return the $40 check I had already paid. When I returned to the office to retrieve that check, she was on the phone talking about me, arms flailing in a fit. I believe this is extremely rude for anyone to do, but she was discussing my case with someone over the phone, an action that defies medical confidentiality. This is completely unacceptable to me and I advise against visiting this office because of the extremely unpleasant experience I had. (I must reiterate, though, that this complaint does not concern Dr. Kahn. His treatment was satisfactory.)
