My whole experience was a night mare and had messed up my life. After a consultation in London with Dr Evan Sachs’s manager Rossa Giammarco, his office manager.
The consultation was in London, I and my friend was made to believe that Dr Sachs would be able to correct my scaring to the back of my head and my friend who wanted to have his nose corrected. I was told that Mr Sachs would make a fine cut and pull the skin over towards the scar and that he would put in sutures and after a year the scar would clear up to and barely noticeable.
As my friend had made up his mine to have his nose treatment I agreed to have my scaring done. I put my trust in Sachs. His manager Rossa even said that she has a face lift and showed us some minor scars on the back of her ear. She seemed trustworthy.
After the consultation I had kept in contact with Mr Sachs in New York via email. He assured me that he could do the procedure and it would rid of all the scars. This is what he said in an email i have copied and paste. He wrote in caps:-
THE SCARS ON THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD ARE A
> >TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY AND I COULD CERTAINLY SORT THESEOUT FOR YOU.
> >GENERALLY I CHARGE $5,000.00 PER SCAR REVISION, BUT SINCE YOU AE COMING
> >WITH
> >ANOTHER PERSON AND HAVE RECOMMENDED SOMEONE ELSE I WILL GIVE YOU A
> >PROFESSIONAL COURTESY DISCOUNT AND WILL RECONSTRUCT ALL THE SCARS ON THE
> >BACK OF YOUR SCAPL FOR A TOTAL PRICE OF 5,000 POUNDS STERLING. FTHIS
> >INCLUDES EVERYING EXCEPT OF COURSE TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION. I LOOK

Another email he asked me to bring cash. I thought this was rather strange.
We booked our flights and apartment and arranged to have the treatment as I had been working and saving over the past years. I had experienced so much trauma over the years from the scars and made up my mind I would go to New York with my friend to have the treatment with DR EVAN MICHAEL SACHS.
It has been 2 years since the treatment and the treatment has made my head look worse. The scars did not decrease and there was even more scarring made by the sutures.
Mr Sachs was unreasonable. He did not want to know. He ignored my emails and just brushed me away as if I was worthless. I explained that I had given him my life savings and that his procedure has made my scars worse. My friend also was not happy with his nose. Dr Sachs did not make his nose better in fact he stretched his nostrils and his nose looked deformed.
Sachs treatment involved the nose not being broken and the cartilage filled down through the nostrils. The whole ordeal has been a waste of time and money and it has depressed me so much. I can’t believe that he can just turn his back and refuse to help.
I would not recommend him to any. Please think hard before making a huge mistake that I am my friend did. Years have passed and I have to wear a hat all the time to hide the treatment to my head.
