Our family has been loyal Clients of Sutton Place Dental since 2000. They have been wonderful! We have had several emergencies looked after, one even after hours Dr Salim came in for me and called me personally to continue care. My children do NOT fear the dentist in fact my 7 year old daughter cried because it was her brother’s turn to go .My son has had several cavities and a chipped permanent tooth, he still insists that they never gave him any needles even though I saw it happen, Dr Salim is a Master !
This is by far the longest relationship we have ever had with any health care provider! Despite the fact that we have moved to a different city, far away from the office, we continue to return simply Because each time we return, we are treated like family. The incredible Sutton place Team has been there each step of the way for us ,our wedding day, our pregnancies, and our children growing ... They were even there when I was faced with some health issues. They embody the statement "For better or for worse!" They thank us each time we visit and yet, really, we should be thanking them. Thank You for taking care of us, for supporting us and most importantly for caring about us. You are simply THE BEST. I have always recommended Sutton place to friends and will continue to do so. I had major dental problems, , my front teeth were discolored and small due to tetracycline and also very sensitive due to repetitive unsuccessful bleaching . After spent months searching for the right dentist online ,I finally found Dr Salim, I believed that he was the right dentist for me after all the rave reviews and magazine articles I had read, in addition to his impressive resume, I thought this would be a pretty good indication of the standard I would receive. As I walked into the charming staff and office I could tell immediately that I was only going to get the best and I was right. I already had the veneers option in mind as per other dentists advised ,Dr Salim proposed treating and covering each tooth affected to mask the underlying tetracycline stain before applying the veneers and explained that teeth that have been stained by tetracycline are more difficult to mask with veneers, especially when they are badly discoloured. unlike other dentists that prefer to etch the tooth and apply the veneer directly . With regards to problems, I honestly haven’t had any, although I’m sure there are people out there who have. I can quite honestly say I have had no pain or problems from the veneers. As to be expected, it just takes a little time to get used to them. However, they feel lovely and slim and smooth and there is nothing obvious about them that make them look as though they are not my own natural teeth and they do not look like piano keys as I’ve seen on some celebrities ! they look GREAT! Dr Salim has an incredible eye for detail. he has given me the perfect smile yet looking so natural, my smile fools everyone, even the experts ! but more importantly I’m very delighted to finally bust the myth of bad British teeth as I am originally from UK .

Dr.Salim and his team have been consistently fantastic in every way. I appreciate the time this team takes to talk through my dental health and provide sound advice. Everyone is so polite, caring and understanding my needs. Very clean and friendly atmosphere and convenient to my work and didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment. My dental issue was a fractured tooth that gave me so much pain especially after a root canal performed by a previous dentist. I was advised by Dr.Salim to put a crown on. The entire process took 2 visits, it was very fast and streamlined .Dr.Salim was thorough and efficient (a rare combination, and one that's always appreciated when a drill is inside your mouth!). Yesterday I had my crown put on so I'm officially a princess :) Overall it was an incredibly pleasant experience from start to finish. Thank you for making me feel welcome and completely stress free. I couldn't be happier for choosing your practice! I also recommend this office for all frightened of going to the dentist persons like me. This team will quell your fears and do an amazing job!!

I will start by saying that this is the first review that I ever wrote, I thought it would be wise and helpful to share my experience of full mouth reconstruction procedure and my long hectic journey to get my smile and confidence back .I’m 32 years old and YES I’m too young for a full mouth reconstruction, but I was suffering from Gastro esophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) for over 10 years which causes dental and enamel erosion. Fortunately my stomach problem got fixed but I was left out with a broken house, Literally each tooth needed a treatment .I consulted many doctors over a period of a year and a half and got different diagnosed and opinions that kept changing, the common advise was to get implants , even if it was the most expensive, painful and slow intervention , I was just glad to move forward and have a possibility on hand .My excitement didn’t last long when the periodontist told me that I was not ‘a good’ candidate for implants because of my thinning gum . I was very upset , exhausted and hopeless but I kept looking online for other dentists in NYC that are known of Cosmetic and implant dentistry .that’s where I found Dr. Salim , I immediately booked and appointment .A week later I met with Dr. Salim , my first impression of him was his optimism toward my case unlike the previews dentists that made me believe that I’m lost cause .I immediately regained confidence to initiate the procedure, he understood my impatience of wanting a fix right away . The entire process took around 4 months; the delay was due to 3 implants that require a healing period of 3 months before putting on the permanent prostheses. I will not go over the entire procedure and steps , but please feel free to inbox if you have any questions , I will do my best to answer you based on my knowledge and experience , I also have some after and before pictures . I highly recommend Dr. Salim and his staff. The staff was communicative, friendly and most importantly very efficient (didn’t experienced any delays, my appointments never got postponed or cancelled) .Dr. Salim is very knowledgeable and competent, he was informative and he had different plans and solutions to offer for my “desperate” case, unlike the other dentists that restricted me to one ultimate option to pressure me and made it seem like a 007 mission. After I choose the full mouth reconstruction option, every step was explained and elaborated and sometimes simulated ahead of time and everything mentioned matched the results even the forecast for the entire procedure timeline was accurate. Overall, I couldn’t have been happier with the result. The reason I’m sharing my story is to give hope and help anyone that will recognize herself/himself through my experience, I suffered a lot, I had low self-esteem because of my teeth and had lost hope, I was antisocial due of that constant fear of people fixing my teeth while I’m talking….well, this is not the case anymore, I am a changed person, it is impressive how a great smile can help improve your quality of life. I feel confident ,attractive , I’m happy which makes me more productive at work and social , I’m funny too (that I just discovered) and of course I enjoy “striking a pose” on pictures putting on my biggest smile. Thank you Dr. Salim for bringing my smile back and for your outstanding impeccable work. Thank you Staff for bearing with me I know I can be a pain sometimes. The funny part is that I cried on my first and last visit but for opposite reasons.
