I am 68 and I was wearing the progressive glasses constantly for last 22 years.
I decided that it's time to change. I found out about Dr. Dello Russo from internet, made a research and decided to make an appointment for evaluation for lasik surgery. I came to doctor's office in Brooklyn and found it's clean and spacious and the environment nice and friendly. All personnel was very polite and helpful. I wish I always have same service in medical offices. My appointment was scheduled for 4 PM on 08/08/2014 and there were many patients in the waiting room. However, I was called for the tests almost immediately after I made the necessary paper work. After I was tested, Dr. Dello Russo have told me that I was a good candidate for lasik surgery, but since my current prescription was difficult I would probably need the reading glasses after the surgery. I decided to go for the procedure the same day, fortunately Dr. Dello Russo had an opening. His assistant Tatyana gave me detailed answers for all my questions no matter how stupid they were, and she also gave me instructions for the recovery period, and she made me calm and ready for the surgery. The procedure was short and painless, even entertaining. I felt discomfort for only the evening after the procedure. The next day after procedure I visited the other office, this time in Manhattan, and again it was clean and specious and easy to reach. The doctor checked my vision and it was 20/20. I received a pare of a nice sun glasses and my following appointment was scheduled right away. Today is only the second day after the surgery and I can see very well and can read without glasses normal font size. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Dello Russo and his staff and am planning to be a Dr. Dello Russo's patient for all my eye related issues. I definitely recommend Dr. Dello Russo to those who consider the lasik surgery or any other procedures.
