Dr. Hartman M. Martin, MD

the staff at this office, in particular, rosie, is the most unprofessional, rude individual i have had the misfortune to encounter. i would highly recommend NOT using this doctor until this individual has some sort of training in dealing with the public. she is condescending and very dismissive. too bad because his patient seems to really be fond of dr hartman

Great doctor. Patient, listens, offers great advice.

After researching for a new pediatrician for my son I found what i believed to be a great fit. I of course used ZocDoc and scheduled an appointment. Well imagine my surprise to find out the hard way that Dr. Martin is a dying breed - a doctor who doesn't treat children who are Autistic. Seriously.

I waited weeks for this appointment for my child and his office called the day before and cancelled because "sorry he doesn't treat children like your son". Like my son? Huh? I sincerely didn't know what the person on the end of the phone was saying - and then they repeated it so I was clear.

So for what its worth thanks for reminding me that there are still ignorant people in the world and some have Dr. in front of their names. Bigotry is bigotry regardless if you decide not to treat a patient because of the name, age, race, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation or in this case disability.
