Dr. Gregory Shifrin, MD

Save your self the aggravation! Dr Shifrin and his staff are extremely nasty.. I spoke to him about an issue that I had after a three minute conversation he looses patience tells me he'll see me at my next appointment and hangs up! I dont suggest anyone steps foot into his practice money hungry as well!

I made an appointment to see Dr. Shifrin today for my annual Pap smear. I confirmed ahead of time with my insurance company that there would be no copay for this visit since it was preventative care. The first words out of the receptionist's mouth were, "You know there's a forty dollar copay, right?" Well, no. No I did NOT know. I called up my insurance company to figure out what had changed in the twenty minutes since I had last phoned them. As it turned out, I still did NOT have a copay, however, Dr. Shifrin requires an invasive and medically unnecessary sonogram as part of his routine Pap smear exam. And being a completely invasive and medically unnecessary procedure, my insurance would not cover it. But forty dollars would. Needless to say, I left. Do NOT come here for any reason. all this guy cares about is lining his pockets with whatever money you're foolish enough to give him.

I would like to take a moment to say thank you to Dr. Gregory Shifrin. You did an amazing “art work” in delivering my son. I had a c-section procedure done that was surprisingly quick and my son made it safely into this world. The amount of personal attention we received was fantastic and we felt great comfort and ease having you by our side during the entire pregnancy. We really-really appreciate everything your practice has done for our little boy and us.
I would highly recommend Dr. Gregory Shifrin as an ob-gyn. (I’m his patient for about 10 years now). He did an excellent job and I’m very grateful for his expertise. I love knowing I’ve chosen the best doctor in Brooklyn.

Dr. Shfrin is an amazing doctor!!! I have been his patient for over 15 years. My experience with him ranged from routine care to child birth, to a complex surgical procedure. He always advises me with my best interest at heart. His medical expertise is far beyond a traditional medical approach. His care and treatment always surpass my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my family or friends. Also, having an ultrasound and labs done in the same office is a big plus...

It was my first and last time I visited Gregory Shifrin.He is worst doctor I've ever seen!!!! He was very rude ... unprofessional ... I wonder how a man like mr.shifrin can call himself a doctor. .. his medical assistants liars ... they say and promise one thing ... but in fact occurs quite another.....they do not know their work.... STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE!!!!
