Dr. Elise S. Carman, MD

I contemplated not even writing this review, but it is only fair I let others know. On behalf of my wife, she was quite unpleased as a new patient. Never has she met such a narcissistic doctor who only cares about her self rather than the needs of the patient.

There are plenty of other doctors in the area and I suggest, more so I beg that you keep looking. No sympathy from me. If I could give it a zero I would.

My wife went to see Dr. Carman for her hysterectomy and she did an excellent job we are very pleased

Dr. Carman is a great doctor! Love her openess and her ability to listen and understand her patients needs.

I have had only great experiences with Dr Carman and her terrific staff. Dr Carman is very knowledgeable and experienced. She delivered both of my sons. She has taken care of my mother and sister and also many other women at my job.
Dr Carman is patient and takes the time to listen during office visits. Also, she was very patient when she was waiting hours and hours for my baby to come.
She is a great doctor and a great surgeon.
I strongly recommend her :)

I would NOT recommend dr. Carmen for first time nervous newly pregnant women. If you were an old seasoned pro at giving birth I'm sure she'll be fine for you. However my first visit I was greeted at the front desk with" go pee in a cup now" and it was all downhill from there. Her and her office staff showed no confidence whatsoever and had a very difficult time doing even the simplest things. Dr. Carmen refused to take responsibility for the care of her patients and by this I mean, after suffering for weeks and weeks with unbearable heartburn and asking her for meds she said to me" I will not recommend anything , because in five years they will say it caused a ADD and you will blame me". Her favorite thing to do was to refer me to her specialist Dr Rosen who is actually very nice however he has extremely limited office hours. Therefore it took months to get an appointment. And when I finally got in to see him and explain to him all of the issues that I was having and all of the reasons why dr. Carmen sent me. All he said was" this is all very simple why couldn't dr Carmen do this?" Needless to say after a few short months I got the hell out of that practice. And even then her office staff did little to nothing but make it very difficult for me to get my records. Its been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for a receipt!!!
