Dr. Doreen E. Degraaff, MD

I had been seeing Dr Degraff for 13 yrs. when I finally decided to have a child. Dr. Degraff was and is a good doctor very helpful. Her nursing staff (Pamela and Pat) however are absolutely HORRIBLE! I was so upset by the way I was treated. I would leave messages for Dr. Degraff with Pamela yet never hear from her. When I would call back Pat would answer I would explain who I was, that I had called before, left a message and her response would be that she "had no idea what I was talking about" this was after she pulled my chart and was very rude. The rest of the staff I seem to have no trouble with but the nurse staff (Pamela and Pat) were the worse I had numerous problems between the two . After 13yrs. of seeing the same doctor I was so upset but I really wanted to go through this experience with Dr. Degraff. I expressed my concerns to Dr. Degraff about her nurse staff and the treatment that I received to my SURPRISE Dr. Degraff became defensive! After I continued to express myself as well as give her specific names she seem to become less defensive maybe because I had my facts straight about who I spoke with. Her advise to me was "do not take no for an answer when you call". So once again I tried going through the office as usual I left a message with Pamela for Dr. Degraff I never received a call back. That was December 09 it is now May 10. I could not and would not take anymore of the horrible treament so I left Dr. Degraff practice after 13 yrs. due to the staff and Dr. Degraff inability to handle her staff.
