Dr. David Hershkowitz - Bayside, NY

I am lucky enough to say I've been a patient of Dr. Hershkowitz since late 2013, and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist. Not only is he an experienced dental surgeon, he is a remarkably honest and decent guy. These are the qualities to look for when entrusting your dental care to someone, I lucked out

Over the past 2-3 years I have been treated by Dr. Hershkowitz numerous times for a wide range of dental issues, which have included fillings, root canals, an extraction, dental bridge implant etc. I needed a lot of work. I personally think my teeth are unrecognizable from when we met. It's hard to describe how much healthier I feel, or how good it feels to be able to smile without feeling embarrassed. I can honestly say I have never felt any pain and I could not be more grateful of the results of his work, which is ongoing.

If you are a nervous patient (or not), or have been putting off going, I would recommend calling Dr. Hershkowitz. I've had a few not-so-good visits to the dentist in the past and I can honestly say they were night and day compared to visiting David. He always takes time to communicate what he is doing, has a story to tell, or cracks jokes when he can tell I'm nervous. It is humbling to see someone who truly cares about their patients and shows that care in the quality of their work and attention to every detail.

Cannot recommend this Doctor or his services highly enough.

Very Professional. He took the time to explain what was going on with my teeth in detail and exactly what follow up treatment i needed. The office manager was very pleasant and efficient.

The thing I like best about Dr. Hershkowitz is that he takes enormous care with me. He knows that my finances have been challenging and he has been willing to work with me so that I can get great care without causing financial problems. He is respectful, concerned. I have gone to bad dentists and had bad experiences. He has countered all of that.

His staff is also respectful and welcoming.

I highly recommend Dr. Hershkowitz.

I am editing this review because I have just noticed that there is a caustic review posted here by a recent former employee of Dr. Hershkowitz. My experience with that former employee was that he, not Dr H, was rude, relentless, harassing and consistently inappropriate. I was relieved to learn that he was dismissed. I am sure other patients were as well.

Dr.David Hershkowitz is not only a fantastic person but funny, to say the least...where he got his sense of humor is beyond me! He has awesome "bed side manner", or shall I say rather "chair side manner" with his patients. I KNOW THIS because I have worked for him for several years. His dentistry is great and he is a perfectionist. Dentistry is a very stressful field and, as we all have our moments of not having our best days, Dr. Hershkowitz manages to keep it together even in the worst of a situation. I was honored to have been employed by him and still have him as a personal friend. One thing for sure he cares in and out of the office! Did I mention he's good looking as well....great office...need to go! Lisa W

Dr. Hershkowitz has always been professional and takes his time to explain procedures that are necessary and why. That is a rare quality these days. His office staff and the feeling in general is friendly, caring and concerned about helping you feel at ease. They make me feel that I can relax and be confident in the treatment I will receive. I owe my smile to his experience, excellent work ethic and highly recommend Dr. Hershkowitz.
