Dr David Henick PC: Henick David MD

I didn't have a chance to have an experience with dr. Henick.
The receptionist in his office is very rude and unprofessional.
I called for an appointment, she took all my information and promised to call back
with the results from my insurance, i never head from her.
When i called back, she did'n remember what i am talking about!
What a great assistant!
I am going to share my experience in Yelp too.

I went here twice. First time for an initial appointment and second time for a hearing test only to find out that they cancelled, but never called me.

I thought the staff at the front desk were cold and unpleasant. Whenever I called, I was always hung up on right after they finished answering my question. If I had another one to ask, I had to call back again because they wouldn't wait a second to hear me out. And they didn't just "hang up", they slammed the phone down on the receiver. Going there, the office wasn't all that busy, but yet, I could still hear the receptionists slamming the phone down everytime it rang. In contrast, the nurse who came in immediately started talking about tattoos with me. She was really cool (blonde, older lady) - nothing like the women at the front desk.

On the other hand, I thought Dr. Henick was nice, but he was just unemotional, plain, no sense of humor, really soft-spoken. While I really don't have anything particularly bad to say about him, I didn't like his personality. I want a doctor that comes in and commands my attention and explains my situation, not a quiet old man that comes and speaks, but I can barely hear him.

He suggested that I get a hearing test, but their hearing tester only comes in on Tuesday, in which I have class. I just think that the scheduling of their services is unfair to people with jobs/schooling.

Doctor Henick is amazing. Great surgeon and excellent follow up. Be prepared for a long wait but it is well worth it.

I didn't actually visit the office, I was just calling to see if my insurance was covered by them. The receptionist was pretty rude and short with me. When I decided not to make an appointment, she hung up the phone quickly without saying goodbye. I understand she was probably under a lot of stress, but she did not leave a good impression of their practice at all.

Dr. Henick corrected a prior surgery that was botched up 2 years prior. It took 6 hrs to do and to this day I have not had a sinus problem worth mentioning. He is pleasant and a wonderful staff.
