Dr. Aretsky's Ridgewood Hearing Center

Dr. Aretsky is an absolute gem. What a relief to find a doctor that still takes the time to talk to his patients and truly get to know them. Dr. Aretsky took the time to talk to my father about hearing loss and relieve a lot of his concerns. We then talked to Tom, the hearing instrument specialist, and he gave us all of our options. This was a visit that we were long dreading but Dr. Aretsky and Tom both made it so much easier and we are all so much happier now.

THANK YOU Dr. Aretsky what a great environment you have created for hearing loss patients. We were treated with such respect and consideration. My father hates going to the doctor, this felt more like a visit with kind friends. The new audiologist, Linda, is terrific and knew just how to make us comfortable. This is the best place to go in Bergen County to find out if you need a hearing aid. Don't go to a store and just buy a hearing aid from a storefront- find out what is causing your hearing loss first by real professionals. After the testing, we knew we did the right thing by finding out what was really the problem.

Dr. Aretsky is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. I will definitely go back and I have recommended him to several friends and family members already!

We're not sure if it was the fear of being sued or sheer incompetence that lead to my wife waiting 3+ months to finally find out they did not submit our claim for a new hearing aid. She is a school teacher so it is extremely important she has working hearing aids at all times. With our continuing effort to get, at a minimum, some answers to what was going on, they were completely aloof and dismissive.
Also, the audiologist is only in a grand total of 2 hours a week, at noon on a weekday, so unless you are retired or otherwise have no other daily obligations, I recommend not wasting your time here.
