One would think a new patience would have been treated more hospitable and slightly more accommodating right up front.. Instead, this office thought it would be best to frustrate the shit out of a new patience and set the tone right up front.
I fill out forms that were required of me, and fax them back. I call to see if everything was received, the receptionist says, "Yes they were, the receptionists then says, "however you left out a few things". This is where the stupidity begins.. She proceeds to ask me if I'm married, how many children I have and my family/parents medical history. I asked her, what the hell does that have to do with my wanting an appointment? A- I was adopted, B-none of your business how many kids I have and C- none of your business if I'm married or not?
What does my marital status, the amount of children and my family/parents medical history have to do with me having 3 ruptured discs in my back.... One might say.. NOT A DAM THING.
moving on... She proceeds to tell me that unless I fill out the forms via fax again and write in the letters (N/A) she is unable to schedule me for an appointment. WOW... I ask if I could do that when I come in for my visit, after all, you have my insurance info, my social, my address, my cell, and my place of work.. my height, my weight, my shoe size, my favorite movie, what I like to eat and so on and so on..RIGHT? Apparently... and to my surprise... this doctor's office and the computer scheduling system is so sophisticated...it's actually able to recognize that the forms I faxed over are actually missing the letters (N/A). Therefore it is impossible for me to get an appointment and absolutely out of the question to apply those letters N/A at the time of my walk in visit.
SERIOUSLY ARE YOU KIDDING ME..
In closing if this was any indication at all on how things are done at this office...Then the receptionist did me a favor... Therefore I thank you for being so difficult, so none accommodating and pointing out that I should look else where for a doctor. UNREAL
