Dr. Alison B. Gruen, MD

My visit to Dr. Gruen was nothing close to what Sandy experienced. It was totally the opposite. The receptionist was very friendly. Once in the room with Dr. Gruen she sat with me and went step by step of what my condition was (fungal in the nails) she took samples of my nails and explained what to do next. I didnt receive any medication that day because she wanted to make sure she was accurate with her findings so she sent the sample to the lab. 2 weeks later I got a call from Dr. Gruen to explain that she did not take enough sample for an accurate reading but that was not her fault my nails were extremely short. So she asked that I let them grow a little and come back so that she can clip a nice size sample. So that is what I did. She called me as soon as she received the results and prescribed my medicine. You get alot of doctors who doesnt call their patients, but Dr. Gruen calls me every other week to check on my progress. So I have to say that my experience with Dr. Gruen was what I expect from a doctor. I give her office a thumbs up....
