Dr. Alfred T. Ogden, MD

Dr. Ogden is a highly skilled talented gifted neurosurgeon. After almost 2 years of severe back pain and visiting 2 other neurosurgeons, one of whom wanted to do a double laminectomy and fusion I was referred to Dr. O. After insulting with him along with my MRI's he said he could help me. He did! Less than 24 hours after the surgery I realized the lower pain was GONE! Still had residual pain but postoperatively I did well. Dr. Ogden gave me my life back and I will be eternally grateful!

I was diagnosed with extruded herniated disc. on or around July 2nd. After going thru another doctor and not being satisfied I was referred to Dr. Ogden On Aug 5th i went to Dr. Ogden and after looking at my MRI and xrays he gave me the options and I opted for the surgery. The pain that I was in was off the charts. the piece of disc was pinching on the nerve. My right leg was numb and pain was bad in leg and back Surgery was Aug 11 at 10am and I was out of Valley Hospital by 4:30pm pain free. I only had a little discomfort in the area of the incision (about a quarter of an inch) in my lower back. That lasted a day. I did not even need the pain meds that they prescribed. The operation was fantastic and i was pain free I would recommend him highly. This is what he does spine surgery. Don't go to someone who "does it all"

If you want an outstanding neurologist Dr. Ogden is who you want to see. Both my wife and I had back surgery and his skills and bed side manner have no equal. Highly recommended.
His assistant Martha is also an outstanding employee and extremely helpful.
