Love dosa but hate one of the employees. The old white lady. She is really rude and not friendly. Dosa could do a lot better for sales if they had nicer employees. I can't stand her. Please get rid of her. Thanks.

What a friendly vendor! While you're waiting for your delicious dosa to cook up, the guy cooking them keeps up a steady stream of conversation, and proudly proclaims "100% Vegan!" on his cart. It's refreshing to be able to find such an inexpensive, but ever so tasty reminder of your amma's (mother's) dosas, like she used to make when you'd visit your granny in Chennai.

umm not sure who the person below is reviewing, but dosa is actually a store in soho (that doesn't sell dosas ...). anyway, what they do have is really flowy items that you can layer. think of a former hippie who loves the feel of fabrics that are made from delicate silks, cashmeres, and fragile cotton. these are not pieces to sweat in or wash on heavy or dry on high heat.

Thiru is warm and friendly and his dosas are delicious, although there's a huge lunch rush because too many people know that. The only weird item is the "veggie drumstick" which is trying to be meat. Not necessary! This place makes me imagine I could be vegan, but only if I ate nothing but NY Dosas.
