Doreen's Little People

We have had our 4 month old son here for 5 weeks, and unfortunately they are closing because the church did not renew their lease. Still, I felt compelled to write a review. We are so sad to have to find new care for our son. Our experience is so different from the review below! He is thriving - he lights up with smiles when he sees the girls. The format is low-key, but from what I can tell, I much prefer vs. larger "classroom" style infant rooms. All of the women are caring and attentive, and Kelly, the manager is in constant contact. I am so disappointed in its closing :(

I had my baby in their care for apx 3 months and there was always an issue and when I would raise an issue with the manager she was offensive and aggressive. The baby would end up with food up her nose as if they force fed her to the point that she cried at the sight of a spoon.

They want kids that are walking so that they can let them roam around aimlessly all day in the small sectioned areas that they have created.

They do no real activities except an occasional craft and the manager sings with them. Yet because it's sporadic and inconsistent there is no structure in their work.

They have untrained and unprofessional workers, no one there is a teacher.

If you want to put your child in a center where they learn and are paid attention do not put them here.

We moved from a city to another so my 2y old son used to go to another daycare which we all loved, but this is even better!!!
I was worried initially bout the space which is kind of small with a small playground outside next to a church, but my son actually comes home every day saying how much fun he had and proving he is learning shapes colors and much more while he enjoys his days.
The girls there are nice and professional, i trust them 100% and overall we couldn't be happier with the daycare.
