Accidentally walked into Soho branch as i could see the waiting line outside... Waited for cookie shot for about 45min..(didn't expect to wait that long.) I usually don't wait for something i haven't experienced but that time i did it as part of traveling.. So taste?? Zeee I cant really agree to the rating here with others as I was quite disappointed. I mean it wasn't bad but wasn't worth enough waiting for that long for vanila tasted milk filled cookie.. Please don't make people waiting. I think it is just part of your marketing tactic but... I doubt it!

Still the only place you can get the original Cronut -- you can come and wait in line early (sells out every morning) or pre-order on their website every Monday 2 weeks out. The flavors change monthly so check to see what you're getting! While it's worth trying once in your lifetime, it's not my favorite thing of Chef Ansel's, I think the flavors are overpowering and often take away from the amazing pastry. Maybe one day he'll make a plain one? Check out Dominique Ansel Kitchen, I think there are more creative options there.

The DKA and the made-to-order madeleines are delicious! The cronut are not worth the wait.

Beautiful Sunday morning. Arrived at 8:45 did not get in until around 9:20 (officially opened at 9:00). The staff was very good. Friendly and handled the customers professionally. Were the cronuts worth the wait? Yes! They were. I wanted to try the cookie shots but was told they do not serve them until after 3:00. Oh well next time. Glad I came now I have to try to freeze the 2nd cronut for the wifey. We'll see.

They were out of cronuts by the time we arrived in the mid-afternoon, but we devoured the frozen s'mores! It involved ice cream, a marshmallow outside and torching - amazing! Everything in this store was beautiful and smelled amazing. I'll definitely have to come back to try some of their other staples!
