I have been ordering cannoligrams several times a year for the past 10 years. The cannolis are very good. The problem is with the website and the customer service. The past 3 orders that I placed on the website were not filled. Each time, I called Dominicks Bakery to see why the orders werent delivered even though my card was charged. I had to call back multiple times for my order to be fulfilled. Usually when I called, I would speak to someone on the phone who told me that dominick was the only person who handled the online orders and he wasnt available but that they would leave him a message. I never received a callback from dominck or his staff and had to call every day to inquire about the status of my order. The first time this happened, I understood that the website had a glitch. The second time it happened, I was frustrated by the number of calls I had to make for my order to be fulfilled and that dominick was the only one who handled online orders yet was never available. The 3rd time it happened, I asked that my credit card be credited and my order cancelled since this was becoming too much trouble. They said they would cancel my order but 3 days later, they fulfilled my order and sent the cannoligram anyway! After years of being a loyal customer, I am now taking my business elsewhere due to the unreliable website and unresponsive customer service.

I paid for a 2day delievery on sept 1st for my fathers 90th birthday on Sept 3rd. They charged my credit card on the 3rd.. I called 3x's to cancel and get a refund since they could not process this in
time to have it delivered in 2 days for my dads bday... The last call i spoke to Rose on 9/19/15 to try and get my money back she said she would take my order # and give it to Dominick to refund my money... I then get an email on 9/23/15 that my order has been shipped....WTF really weeks after when i had cx..... I still was not refunded.

Worse food ever. I am not used to write reviews but this place deserve one. First, we waiting too long for food to came out from kitchen. I order a "Hamburger" because the waitress said "actually they are really good!" you can tell it's a frozen burger right from the first bite. They serve it with a bunn that has small black seeds on top and looks disgusting. I asked the waitress to, please, change it for a plain one and what did he brings? A stale bunn. A stale bread from a bakery? I mean. Come on!!! My daughter order a pizza and it came out burnt. When I ask the waitress for an explanation He said it's good, that's nothing wrong with that pizza. We came hungry in and since we waiting too long we decided just accept the food. Big mistake!!! I was really upset with the lack of taste on food and cooking skills from kitchen's staff. I have no intentions in return to this place. I will skip it and order a subway sandwich right across the street for a half price.

I had such a disappointing experience with Cannoligram. I placed an online order for cannolis and paid for 2nd day air shipping. BTW, I live in NJ. I could have driven there in an hour! Anyway by day 3, I had not received the order. I called and spoke to a woman who said the person I needed to speak with was not there, but she would be sure he would call me the next day. She also stated they were having a problem with their online ordering system. 2 days pass with no phone call and no order, so I called again. This time I spoke with a man who also reiterated that they were having problems with their online ordering. However, they obviously got my order because they charged me the day I placed the order for the items and 2nd day air. I explained to the man that I needed them for a party the next day and could he assure me they would arrive by then. NO! They would not. Not an apology, Nada. I am pursuing a charge back . Stay away. There is nothing like good customer service and believe me, what I received was NOTHING like good customer service.

Dominick’s “world famous Cannoli Gram”? What a disaster. I ordered one on a Wednesday morning to arrive by Friday, in time for a special occasion. When it didn’t arrive, I called Dominick’s on Friday afternoon to inquire. I was told the person who knew about the Cannoli Grams wasn’t there but would be in Saturday and would call me then. In the meantime I called FedEx to check on the shipment by destination (since Dominick’s hadn’t give me a tracking number), and they had no record of any shipment to that address. In other words, it was likely never sent, even though my credit card was charged.
When I didn’t get the promised call from Dominick’s on Saturday morning, I called the cafe on Saturday afternoon, and was told again that the person I needed wasn’t there, and that he’d call me Monday morning. When (you guessed it) I got no call on Monday morning, I called back Monday afternoon. The person who answered said she would get someone and put me on hold. After 15 minutes of hold music, I called in on another line, only to be told the same thing—the person I need wasn’t in until Tuesday. I asked to speak to the senior person who was there, but was told that there was no one in charge.
I finally decided to just dispute the credit card charge and order elsewhere. (And by now I shouldn’t need to tell you whether I got the promised call on Tuesday). So I write this now a full week after an order that I was charged for but never sent, and no one has given me any information. This may be the worst example of customer service that I’ve ever experienced.
