Used to be awesome and close at 4. Now I go in on Sunday's and the bartender will tell you at 3:15 you've got 15 minutes till you have to leave. The old crew was a lot better.

Cool bartenders, friendly regulars, and good music. Take some time to read the amusing house rules all over the bar wall. A real blues / country bar.

This place certainly has its champions - it has a pool table, cheap beer and low standards. The place can get pretty packed, and loud - with your favorite country tunes out the juke. It is pretty warm and welcoming for a dive bar, and the prices and pace of service are good, especially so for the area. It can get pretty nasty - sticky tables, questionable restrooms and smells, etc. - but overall not a bad place to sink into oblivion.

Classic roadhouse dive. Amazing jukebox of country legends (Hank Williams). Also has a pool table. Loud music and a usual local crowd, mixed with some youngsters looking for the old East Village. Cheap beer and good times always.

The only country music honky tonk dive bar in the East Village. I love this bar because it is old school. The jukebox still plays CDs. The bartenders are very friendly and cans of Rolling Rock won't hurt your wallet at only $3 each. There are also quite a few tables for larger groups. Beware this bar does get crowded with annoying NYU hipsters on the weekends.
