The way they run their business is exactly the same way you would run a scam. They are very rude and try to bully prospective tenants into forfeiting their legal rights. Yikes!

109-20 71 rd building is managed by this company, the building is run down garbage always on the property its a building that don't belong in this area. This is the only building on that block that does not maintain there building or premises.I was told the person who's in charge of this building He did not want to hear anything he was nasty arrogant , so I new that he was not gonna do his job and cleaning up that building. I then talked to the Manager of the Ditmas Management company , and he was a bigger jerk that the 1st idiot, and now you know what this building belongs in a ghetto[ bring the whole neighborhood down

Horrible owners and horrible super at the 8760 113th street location! Nothing has been fixed for weeks now and water from the tap and bathroom comes out brown. Management keeps denying this and giving me the run around. I have a video recording of the water coming out brown, unsafe and unsanitary. Up to the point that I have to either boil water or buy store bought water just to take a shower because I refuse to take a shower in dirty brown water! 311 and suing the company is my next step. The superintendent of the building is horrible and harasses everyone. knocks on my door at all hours of the day and night as if some of us don't actually have real jobs! Even drilled a nail through the compact door so we are now forced to go all the way downstairs to throw out the garbage. building is infested with mice! exposed heated pipes. My kitchen sink had a leak for 2 years until the finally fixed it. The water ate through the bottom wood and mold has started growing. we asked for them to fix it and its been 2 months and nothing! My apartment has never been painted before and they are suppose to offer free paint jobs after 2 years. Called them for that too and keep getting the run around on who is in charge of that. It's been 7 months since I called for the paint. it's been a month since I just gave up.

I don't even know where to begin describing my issues with Dimtas Management as well as the super that they emply to manage my building. I have been having a serious issue with no heat in my apartment for the past several months as soon as the temperatures have gotten lower. I voiced my complaint to the super who never did anything to fix it even though he did install a sensor in my apartment. I have been running my own heater and paying for my heightened electricity bill since them. I called the management and they completely dimissed me. The secretary there went as far as to tell me she is wearing a coat and scarf herself at work! Are you kidding?! I am paying over $1300 per month for rent. Why should I be freezing in my own apartment and paying more for my electricity?! Unreal. She said since I contanted 311 they will wait to hear from them. That is all that she bothered to offer in helping me. She never asked for my contact information or offered to follow up. Completely unacceptable. I can't even believe they would rather deal with 311 than help an unhappy tenant.

Does 10 Months of Rent Free From Court = BAD MANAGEMENT?!?!?!

I have got a stipulated court order for 10 MONTHS LIVING FREE!!! + Making them re-fix all they said they fixed!!!

1. LEAD PAINT ALL OVER!!! Proven in court to be X100 time over the legal limit after they claimed that there is no lead paint in the apartment.

2. Kitchen floor tiles 20+ years old are cracking and cheeping, building manager said they will not replace them (it cost $0.69 per tile - I offered to pay for it all even upgrade - he said no.) because "it is not an hazardous condition" we had a 1 year old baby crawling on the floor (is that a hazardous or not? you tell)

3. Heat work for 1 hour only (outside temp was 15F) they scorch the apartment (measured 120F) for 1 hour at 8pm then all night heat is off in morning again 1 hour of 120F and 3.5 - 4 hours that you have to freeze.

4. building is infested with mice!!!! we trapped over 50 mice in 3 days!!! Court order said they have to remove the kitchen and patch/close/cover all holes in the apartment and reinstall it - super came in opened the door under the sink , looked and said he will be back to take it out... 3 months later we are still waiting for him :-(

5. exposed radiators and heat pipes (heated to 120F) no covers where supplied for 8 months then we got $2.99 fiberglass to cover 2 pipes only (fiberglass is Fibers of Glass!! do you think its hazardous for babies????)

6. Window Guards!!! although we said before we move in we have a baby and we want the window guards it took 2 months to get them for 3 out of 10 windows and then 2 more months to get the rest that ALL!! where to short by low (must have less then 2.5 inches gap from each side) we had 2 foot gap!!! when we asked to be fixed they blocked the windows so we can't open them more then 10 inches!!!

7. Toilet bowl is out of order every 2-4 weeks, super fix and it breaks again he said "management is to cheep to spent $7 on a good part instead of 25 times $3.

8. a funny thing... when we moved in the super was in vacation, so they asked us to pick up the keys 1 week before so we wont have access issues... then they sent us a bill to pay rent for that week that we did not used or asked to begin with.

9. elevator is out of order 2-3 day every month or more.

After all of that I have got a stipulated court order for 10 MONTHS LIVING RENT FREE!!! + Making them re-fix all they said they fixed!!!

Now you judge if a Court Judge said that I am right and agree to give for that 10 months Rent Free! Is that means that they are nice enough to rent from or maybe run away.
