The DAV's work really hard for the veterans. All the evidence they pull up and the advice that they give is dead on accurate. Well worth the wait to see the representatives because when your with them they really take their time and boy do time flys while your sitting their with them. The more you share the more they care. I would give the DAV's office in Newark New Jersey ten stars if I could.

I have no personal experience with this organization but I want to point out that I am donating to it because I was solicited by USO and I found out that USO has a 2-star Charity Navigator rating, 12% administrative expenses, and pays their CEO more than $500,000. Charity Navigator offers DAV as an alternative that serves similar needs. DAV has 4-star rating, 2% administrative expenses, and their chairman gets $6800. So I think my money is better used here.
