I have become a recently new customer due to my 7yr old daughter noticing it after a trip to 16 Handles. It has become a ritual after ice cream to visit and purchase some cool items.
Suffice it to say our last trip was NOT a pleasant experience. My 7 yr old picked out a novelty magic set which had 2 separate sticker prices on it. She asked why and having worked in retail years ago o explained that it was perhaps a mark down. Furthermore being that I worked in retail I was confident that the lowest price would be honored.
The cashier did NOT agree and attempted to charge the highest price. Definitely not the appropriate move in the world of retail. Not only did I leave that item, i also left an additional item and left store.
We will not be returning to Dinosaur Hill and as of today 8/19/16 it will NO longer be part of our 16 Handles ritual.
